What a shame the Cup Final clashes with the game at West Ham. Had been looking forward to the women’s game against Chelsea after the Continental Cup final, outstanding game.
Time after time they do this crap. Worse, they do it without explanation or apology. I don't know how many City fans are going to West Ham but surely a good few of them would have loved to make a full day of it and take in both games. It seems no one makes any effort on this.

Probably not the FA's fault but I'm sure they could have tried to apply pressure.

I'll end up recording this to watch in the evening after hopefully celebrating a mens win.

Absolute kick in the teeth for the women's game putting the FA Cup final on at the same time as a bunch of PL matches.

I'd have loved to see it get an early afternoon kick off today. Hours of coverage on the BBC, decent ticket prices encouraging those who go for one final to turn up for the other too, really use it as a showcase event for the women's game. You've even got a compelling narrative right there of "can anyone stop Chelsea doing the double?" (although I appreciate that goes against the all-conquering Liverpool narrative in the men's game). This is two of the best teams in the country battling it out for a trophy, it deserves a big stage.

Instead it gets shunted off to tomorrow when everyone's distracted by major events in the men's game, and the women are again an afterthought.

Anyone already in London for this, or going down for it tomorrow morning?

Think we can get at their back line with the talent we’ve got fully fit again now. I’d try starting with Shaw over White tomorrow; she’s looked dangerous recently, and I think she can turn Bright and have some success with her style which is a bit more direct than Ellen White.

There are two changes to the Chelsea side from their 4-2 win over Manchester United which saw them lift a third successive WSL title.

Aniek Nouwen and Bethany England come in for Jonna Andersson and Niamh Charles.

England international Fran Kirby is on the bench after recovering from illness.

Chelsea XI: Berger, Nouwen, Bright, Ingle, Carter, England, Reiten, Eriksson, Kerr, Cuthbert, Harder.

Subs: Musovic, Ji, Kirby, Fleming, Mjelde, James, Charles, Spence, Andersson.
