Bunny Shaw was the top scorer in the French Womens League……the games must be played at a snails pace…….
When watching her the phrase “going at it like a Bunny” does not come to mind……like running in treacle.

She's not getting a run of games so can't build up match fitness. Still managed to get on the scoresheet so I'm not writing her off just yet.

Nice impartial BBC reporting on the Rags as usual I see:

AT LAST!

It's not the prettiest goal but it's enough.

Leah Galton gets in behind down the left and stabs the ball across goal.

Brighton keeper Katie Startup should do better but lets the ball roll under her body and trickle into the net.

None of the United supporters seem to care though. They're going crazy.

Finished 1-0. Always expected them to win but a bonus is they only won by a single goal so goal difference is now 3 but we have a game in hand And Birmingham at home to play. Seems the usual Rags game, keeper error for the goal, opposition hit woodwork, Rags allowed to foul without Any cards and opposition get one in the 3 fouls they committed

Simon Stone ?

Nope, was some women with this at full time:

FULL-TIME

Man Utd 1-0 Brighton
That will do!

Except it won't really do. They're 3 points and 3 goals ahead of us but, given the remaining fixtures, they could really have done with scoring a few more today. I'm really pleased that, after their two home games against Everton and Brighton, the goal difference gap is as slender as it is.

So fuck the ragettes - it'd be a travesty if that bunch of mundane cloggers make the CL instead of us. Fortunately we're on a hot streak over 11 games, in which we've dropped points only to Arsenal and Chelsea (and even then a bit unluckily), so you'd think we're favourites.

If we can’t beat Birmingham and Leicester by a huge margin and also beat Brighton and Reading then we are really shite.
FA Cup Final to look forward too - surely??
Not even Gareth Taylor can fuck this up - surely??

Alex Greenwood has returned to the club from international duty with 'ongoing knee issues'. Not good news, we need a fully fit squad for the end of the season, hopefully it is just a niggle and nothing more serious.

She has scored 11 goals in 15 games for City, is our league also at a snail's pace?

YES…the amount of time wasted by goalkeepers and defenders passing the ball across the back is extraordinary. They all want to be Atletico Madrid.
Only Chelsea consistently play with pace….which is why they tend to win almost everything in the WSL. We used to when Nick Cushing was in charge.
Bunny Shaw is so limited ……our Lukaka !!

Scores goals though, though we will never play like Chelsea as our owners seem to favour a one style approach across all the teams, a pass it out from the back possession based style.

Chelsea have or are peaking as we hit a decline, we peaked when Cushing was in his last or even his second last season, two differing styles have resulted in some great games, we wil come back stronger again, hopefully minus Taylor lol

Engerland on ITV4

3 up against North Macedonia. Hemp getting a kicking from the opposition.
