I thought we did really well yesterday, better finishing and a bit of luck here and there the cup would be back in Manchester today . But as for next season, personally I would stick with Taylor, the poor start to the season really cost us any chance of winning the league. The rest of the season we must of been the form team I the league, with no hope of the finishing in the top 3 we did and also won the league cup , so not too bad a season after all.
But next season we really need to look at replacing some of the older stars , Demi Stokes, Steph Houghton, Ellen White, Jill Scott and Karen Bardsley, all great players and servants of the club, but players can't carry on for ever (hopefully some will find coaching rolls I the club). So this summer we need to be on the ball with recruitment and rebuild a great team .

Agree with that, when the injured girls gradually came back it illustrated how much it cost us to lose so many. Very difficult to have a top class squad, those good enough to be in it are targets of clubs who can promise first-team places
We often out-muscle teams, CFC being the exception, but our skill levels are the highest imo. I believe the management team have earned the right to remain, unless a no-brainer becomes available,
Best women's cup final to date, Pep's philosophy there for all to see.

We really need the salary cap to go. All teams will be at risk of losing their best players to USA or European clubs.
The NWSL in America has a salary cap too. Players are guaranteed a minimum of 35K USD. There is maximum amount they can be paid. I think is somewhere in the $50k's. Teams can also use "allocation money " to pay players. I have no idea how it all works.

Could be a few outgoings this summer.

Off that list, there's only Shaw I would keep.

Bronze has lost her pace. Weir, I don't feel, does THAT much on the pitch as for me when she's not having a shot she doesn't control her midfield enough. I think most know my feelings on Stanway, that she's a walking Red Card in almost every match! As for Shaw, she's starting to get herself into the team and is part of the way we attack, these days, with her hold up play. I would sell Walsh, too, as she's not progressive on the pitch. No idea why, when she has the skill to be.

For me, we lost a trick in not playing Losada in that midfield, yesterday as what control we did have, we didn't use it to our strengths.

Shaw linking with Hemp and Kelly would be highly effective in the future... should that happen!
