Second half of the season, with all the players back, we were as good as anyone.
If all teams stayed injury free next season, I think we'd finish 2nd, behind Chelsea but ahead of Arsenal, and we'd push Chelsea all the way. That's with the side we have right now.
Yes we should want to improve and some changes need making but we don't need to rip it apart and start again.
With the salary cap and wages as they are, it's not always straightforward to get players to join. We could maybe get ambitious players from other lower WSL teams, but they would probably not be our level on day 1. Getting players to uproot from other countries and come here is obviously possible, but never a guarantee as the wages may be better where they are.
We are obviously attractive over here due to our setup. Chelsea and Arsenal have London. It's difficult to get players instantly who are better than White, Stokes, Weir and Walsh. Kennedy came in late notice and isn't perfect, but she's done a good job and we probably wouldn't have made 3rd this season without her.
So. Keep most of them. If Weir, Shaw, Bronze etc want to leave, then they'll leave and along with Stanway, it'll be a big enough job replacing them without having to change others also.
