Fowler has always looked much better playing for Australia than she has with us I think, but she's not really getting game time in her best position for us. She's done well since she came into the team on the right but i don't see her there long term. She's very young though so lots more to come from her if she sticks around. If it hadn't been for Roord's injury Park would have probably been getting the minutes Fowler has had of late, but you'd think Park will probably be left in the middle for the foreseable.

Would be a bigger loss than Caroline Weir, Lucy Bronze or any of the others that have left imho.

It would, but we're a much better team without some of those that left imho.
Horrible news and gutted for her.
Not sure we'd have a single match fit keeper to play if we were playing this weekend. Good job there's another 9 days til we play again and Keating ought to be back.

They've all been given time off and most of the team are abroad on holiday at the moment, including Khiara.
If there was any doubt, I would have thought they'd have kept her back at the CFA for training/rehab so I'm taking it as a positive sign.

Khiara posted something on social media a day or so ago to say she'd be fine for the next match. We may have to bring Karen Bardsley out of retirement to have a keeper on the bench though ;)
