It seems the officials did their best to keep playing until Chelsea scored again but to no avail. City now 6 points clear with a better goal difference and Chelsea having just the one game in hand now.
Great save by the Liverpool keeper at the end.
Up there with Emi Martinez save for villa in the arsenal match

They've pipped us to the title twice indeservedly in the last few years.
One where the Chelsea keeper made a last minute unbelievable save against us going right in the top corner that she had no right to make, that denied us points that resulted in them winning it.

The other was giving them the title in Covid year despite us being top and they gave it them on average points per game.

Can't understand Hayes crying to the press they are not going to win anything this year when it's clearly not done yet and we have a couple of tricky games. I must admit seeing their players in tears at the end of that game gave me a warm feeling inside. Rather them than our girls.

I doubt Gareth T will think its over either. We'll be ready to give it all against Arsenal. Let's hope their determination to upset us isn't as strong as their disappointment at finishing 3rd. I'd like us to win it against them at home in front of a full house at the Joie rather than a horribly nervous nail biting affair away versus Villa. But I realise this is City and we don't do easy......

The ladies embrace Typical City as well.

:)

The BBC say they're an advocate for women's football, but won't open a HYS on last night's 'game of the season'.
Anyone would think they're hurting.
Could it be all the pre-creaming they've been doing over Klopp and Hayes as blown up in their faces.
