Rather than look at various permutations, let’s just concentrate on us winning our games. Simples :-)
chelsea have 2 "not so simple" games as well.Huge that tonight.
3 points essentially sees us home, 4 would make it definite.
Come on you blues.
Great save by the Liverpool keeper at the end.It seems the officials did their best to keep playing until Chelsea scored again but to no avail. City now 6 points clear with a better goal difference and Chelsea having just the one game in hand now.
The ladies embrace Typical City as well. They've pipped us to the title twice indeservedly in the last few years.
One where the Chelsea keeper made a last minute unbelievable save against us going right in the top corner that she had no right to make, that denied us points that resulted in them winning it.
The other was giving them the title in Covid year despite us being top and they gave it them on average points per game.
Can't understand Hayes crying to the press they are not going to win anything this year when it's clearly not done yet and we have a couple of tricky games. I must admit seeing their players in tears at the end of that game gave me a warm feeling inside. Rather them than our girls.
I doubt Gareth T will think its over either. We'll be ready to give it all against Arsenal. Let's hope their determination to upset us isn't as strong as their disappointment at finishing 3rd. I'd like us to win it against them at home in front of a full house at the Joie rather than a horribly nervous nail biting affair away versus Villa. But I realise this is City and we don't do easy......
Isn’t typical City a thing of the past? The ladies embrace Typical City as well.
