I agree that "we" have a lot to answer for, but you seem to only see one side of the story.
Both sides have fucked up, surely now is the time to find common ground.
The 1% of"both" sides can not be allowed to win.

obviously we cant let them win. but when the muslim world is 1.2 billion strong its going to be hard to contain a splinter group without fuking around with the masses. 2 ways of fixing this shit storm OR help improve the situation would be. to leave foreign arab/muslim territories (military wise). and to at least make a a fukin attempt to be less pro Israel would do a world of good.

As an ex serviceman myself from personal opinion,the war in Afghanistan is one that will never ever be won. You simply cannot negotiate with these people. I always said that about the Irish republican conflict but after 30 odd yrs we negotiated a peace settlement however some are still trying to destabilise this process such as the killing of the police officer recently on his way to work in Ireland.

The troops are trying to bring a better life to the majority in my opinion and unfortunately in conflict people die (including innocents). It doesn't justify an unarmed man being beheaded in a London street but I suppose it does in their eyes as part of their Jihad.

Just bring the troops home and let the Afghanistan peoplelive their lives. We all know the Taliban will regain control once we have gone.

some posters on here need to go home look in the mirror and hang their heads in shame, i have never read such left wing shit in my life, or better still why dont they pay the young soldiers family a visit and try to explain their warped arguments to them, hopefully they would be gripped very tightly by the throat and thrown in an undignified heap into the road

I don't think for one minute that this would stop these things happening.

Some of these idiots actually hate the west because the west is Christian (Or at the very least non Muslim).

Israel would rather nuke them than offer them appeasement.
