Right, what this guy has done is very wrong and he should be punished, a bullet in the head I would suggest.

However, I can totally understand thier point of view and reasons for doing it - not that I would do the same as I'm not a nutcase.

Is the killing of this soldier any worse than the hundreds of killings that take place in Irag/Afghan each year by fellow soldiers?
If someone killed your friend, relative or someone you felt a connection to would you not want to take revenge? (I realise it was probably not this actual soldier who killed them)

They will see this, rightly or wrongly, as the only way of stopping Britain continuing wars against Islamic countries.
If we were not in Iraq or Afghan, this murder would not have happened.
Imagine what your reaction would be if someone invaded your homeland, killed thousands of people and bombed loads of buildings and you couldn't do anything to stop it - you would want revenge, which is what these 2 guys have done.

Oh, and why are soldiers 'heroes' but fireman aren't? They risk their lives everyday too, and they do it with the aim of saving lives not taking them. (No I'm not a fireman or know anyone who is)

I can't believe you are trying to justify what them sick fucks have done.

So if your son got his head chopped off by muslims you would be sympathetic to them.

Do you think British soldiers go around killin random muslims? We cant even fucking shoot without being shot at first. If anyone is caught in the cross fire they took to Bastian ASAP.

Would you be sympathetic if a British soldier killed your son?
Oh, and don't even try to say that everyone killed by British soldiers fired at them first, as this is obviously not true

So if a christian went and murdered a muslim in a revenge attack, going by your theory it would be justified because it would be revenge for his religious compatriot.

Not taking the piss and I know it was not aimed at me but could you give a bit more detail as I really do not understand what you mean by that example.

(had a spliff and a bit of wine)

Firstly, I never said it was ok to kill anyone, if you read my first line of the original message you will see what I think of the person who did it.
Secondly, how do you know the person who died was a Christian?

And to answer properly, no it wouldn't if it was just a random attack.
However, if these guys who killed the soldier were part of some group, lets call them Anti soldier group A, and someone killed another member of the group in retaliation, I wouldn't condone it but I would understand it, just like I do this attack on the soldier.

Get your point now Bones.

It would not be justified but if a friend or colleague of Lee Rigby were to attack someone who they thought was a terrorist, I would not justify it but would fully understand why they had done.

Told you I was a bit tipsy.

I understand why they did it but it's still no excuse. Yes out foreign policy is disgusting, many of innocents die each day in this phony war but it still does not warrant people being beheaded in the street.

I can't believe the amount of sympathisers.

-- Fri May 24, 2013 7:28 pm --

It is not sympathy it is just understanding. You said it yourself. I think what they do is fucking awful I think what we do is fucking awful. That is not sympathy. I realised why Hitler did what he did (because he was a fucking evil nutter who's ideas were disgusting) therefore I understand his twisted motives but I certainly do not sympathise.
