I'm often using the word shilling. Trailing round a supermarket I often remark to Mrs Ewing, "Hey, look at that - they want fourteen shillings for that!'

The Woodside Cafe on Palatine road, opposite the Forum accepted farthings right up until they were withdrawn. Bought a few blackjacks there, one at a time.
Question: how can I remember such details when I can hardly remember my own name?
