World Athletics Championships 2022 | Day 7 (pg 5)

3000m Steeplechase almost unwatchable with sound, the stadium announcer and the bbc commentators are talking over each other.

The stadium announcer doesn't usually talk during a televised major championship, they need to sort that out.

And the stadium falls silent.

What a 4 x 400m mixed relay.

Dominican Republic snatch gold, Netherlands snatch silver, the US drop to bronze.

The Dominican women (Paulino & Cofil) were lightning quick. Bol was superb too, maybe could have snatched gold for Netherlands if she'd gone sooner.

Fabulous 10k last 100m sprint there

Edit - that looks worth a DQ appeal there - a forearm block on the line!

Dina & Darryl both looking good, but to get a medal gonna be so tough. I assume all the Jamaicans will be In Birmingham too, so this is one event where the best chance of a gold this summer looks like being the Europeans.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow though.

Just caught up on last night's action.

Asher-Smith, Muir and the men's 1500m runners looked impressive for GB.

Jamaican 100m runners look good for the women.

Gidey was class in the 10km. Kerley somehow pulled that gold back at the end.
