I don't see them troubling us up top. They have a lack of pace in the striker position & only play with one. All we need to do is stay close to Modric & Raketic, Show Perisic down the line & stick Maguire on Mandzukic for set pieces and we will win.

For me it's City in CL or PL or even in a derby

Like you have said the WC is every 4 years where as my support for City is every day, week, month, year and therefore more anxious when it comes to the blues.

Want England to win but just haven't got that feeling of nerves like I do when City play

It's good the whole country as connected though and want this to carry on.

Im with you. Ive really bought into this england team, ive put aside club rivalries to support them to a man. Southgate has completely changed my opinion, what a man!
Ill be jumping up n down with joy if we win.

I disagree with those that say that the nerves would be worse for a City CL final. If we mess up a Prem or CL campaign there's always next year. If England fall short in the WC it's a four year wait until the next one. That makes it seem there's more at stake.

I think Kluiverts consolation goal also knocked out the Scots by goal difference. Either way we turned it on that day.

Italia 90, Euro 96 and France 98 we should have won one of them. This team is inferior to them all yet the team spirit is there. It was in the others but penalties screwed us up
