Just saw it if we are talking about the same move on 48th min. He did not really nutmeg the defender as he was still on him. The ball got out of lukaku control though and Miranda cleaned it up. Not close to same skill displayed by Gab against vertonghen and which could have easily resulted in a penalty with komp's tackle.

I don't have a replay, so I'll take your word for it. I don't really think there's much doubt that Lukaku has been excellent in this tournament. If it ended today he'd probably get the golden ball.

But I hate United as much as the next guy, so fuck him. Like I said it just makes Mourhino look worse having an average league striker light up the world cup.

Brazil for me have lost their soul. They for whatever reason decided after not winning anything after 2002 to change tact and feel that they had to play a more european style of football, correct me if I am wrong but I think it was Dunga who thought this was a good idea.

Now Fifa didnt help things with the ruling that was brought in regarding their sacred game Futsal - something to do with a lighter ball being used as Futsal was being distributed around the globe.

But Brazil once stood for the freedom of expression, watching the likes of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Cafu, Romario, Bebeto, Branco, R.Carlos amongst others is what made myself and I am sure others always excited to watch them whenever the opportunity arose. They have now sadly become a very average european style side - the sooner they find their soul and remember what made them great in the first place, the better they will be.

Obviously the state of Brazilian football meant that they had to sell their younger talented players to european clubs at the first attempt, but I remember that Brazil back in its pomp also selected highly talented home based players so that no other nation knew what their attributes were.

Look at Ganso, a highly talented player back in Brazil has now become a forgotten footballer at Sevilla.

Brazil needs to look at itself in the mirror because it has become a shadow of what it once was and stood for. For me Neymar isnt fit to lace either of Ronaldinho’s , Romario’s or Ronaldo’s boots and this performance tonight has cemented the fact for me that his reputation is finished

Brazil have always been hit and miss. They shipped in 7 and worked on it, and had a decent world cup with Belgium getting the luck, but that is knock out football.

Damn what a ride. We had some luck pulling trough, but the boys showed what they are worth. Some superb performances, kev and comps certaintly, but also big thanks to our magnificent goalkeeper who should win that keeper price. Well, a superb keeper is a weapon we have, cutting edge counters is another one.

Martinez has done great for Belgium, and should be deservingly lauded for his changes and the win. He did this one right atleast. Historic win for us, another one in our long unbeaten streak. Bring on France!

Congrats and yes Martinez gets kudos for good changes. Would have been even better if you had nainggolan in there instead of Fellaini ;)

Unfair criticism of Jesus, I feel. Showboat Neymar with undoubted skills slows Brazil's attacks down with his own preciousness leaving the Brazil forward line uncertain of his intentions. There is craft and guile in Gabriel's game, he just needs a master like Pep in charge to engage it.
