I thought Sterling was really threatening today. Best game so far. Made really intelligent runs and caused the Swedish defence no end of worry. But that doesn't mean that people can't ask more of his end product. There's no doubt that his composure and decision making when in good positions could use some improvement.

Why?
Trippier has been one of England's best two or three players throughout the tournament. Kane is the tournament's top goalscorer and will always be England's best hope of a goal. Didn't score today but still played intelligently and unselfishly. Alli is clearly not at his best but is always a goal threat. His movement for his goal today was perfect.
Because I think he means you usual bottle it in semi finals....
Alli hasn’t been good I think even you’ll admit, Dier doesn’t deserve a start though Trippier and Kane have done well. Loftus-Cheek cheek for Alli would be a change for me, though I’d also bring Rose in for Lingard.

We made far harder work of that than we needed to.
No idea why we spent the last ten minutes bombing forward and chucking crosses into their box.
Their best chances came on the break from our attacks.
No need to leave them that amount of space.

Ah, I see. Fair enough!
Yeah, Dele hasn't been great. But I'd still have him over Loftus-Cheek. However poorly he is playing, he has that moment of magic in him that not many England players do.

Agree with all of that.
He was MOTM today.
He needs to reach that standard more consistently for England though.
