He tends to take time to get back to form after injuries too, and spends a fair bit of that time dropping clangers. Still, at least slabhead is fit and can play every game for the rags so not all bad news.

That’s bollocks that. He doesn’t play negatively, he takes time to find the progressive pass. At City, the midfield make it possible for him. But when he’s looking at Henderson and Rice? He has to then admit defeat and play sideways.

Club football is way better than international football. I wondered how many Brazil players would be guaranteed starters for City. No more than 3-4. And Brazil were regarded as the best international team. Same with France and Spain...Back to proper football soon.

I really don't think many of our players will that bothered.

I've heard rumors they were not playing at full intensity.

Glad all but one is back, and the one that remains is a bonus as it will give him more game time and do wonders for his confidence.
