World Cup Quarter-Finals Thread.

The referees at this world cup have been such bottlers. None of them are giving anything, there should of been at least twice as many red cards and penalties
 
good decision ref, I hate players who go down under contact that isn't sufficient to force them to fall over or really disrupt them, he could have carried on regardless but chose to fall over when he felt a touch, so to me it's as much simulation as is flopping over without contact, he wasn't "fouled" at all.
 
A real tactical masterclass by Van Gaal here, managing to hold the Costa Ricans for 100 minutes. Presumably he's after penalties, as the Dutch are notoriously good at them

Robben dived to get them to this stage in the competition. They deserve a soft one going against them.

Not really, it was clumsy by Vlaar; no need to lunge in.
