Exactly ,apart from that freak result vs spain and aside the individual brilliance of robben, there.hasn't been any master strokes of the.so called tactical brilliance from LVG as the media claim. This love in with anything regarding united and liverpool ,certainly drives me crazy at times.sh249 said:Crimson Clive is doing his best, isn't he? they've overachieved, Van Gaal heads to Manchester with his reputation enhanced etc. They played well once (Spain), were disciplined against Chile, and crap against Australia, Mexico and Costa Rica. Very average tonight.pikku said:Van gaal tactical genius blah blah this that, serves them right ...buhahahaha..I can't stop laughing..
The only thing he has done of note was the Krul substitution. Wasn't a brave move, at all, as he couldn't possibly lose. He just sent Krul on with the instruction to be as unsporting as possible - he'll fit the rags like a fucking glove.
Was he that bad eh? just watched the last few mins.MSP said:Messi will never be a player he has been year or two ago. There is quality there so we'll see some moments of brilliance but he lost his explosivity and that was half of his game,
To be fair Demarcus Beasley and Georgios Samaras had very good tournaments.marco said:who would ever have thought in the days of pearce a few years on and three players in a world cup final
