World Cup VAR

Well, yes VAR did 'work on the headbutt'. The player got a yellow. Henderson received the same as it was about the same severity of action.

As for Lingaard 'tripping', I think you saw an illusory effect of turf coming up around one of the player's boot (I can't remember which), but certainly no where near the contact you'd expect to take him down.

Nonsense acting, right decision.

If only they'd had var when Zidane was playing.
And a yellow for a headbutt is fucking ridiculous, especially when reviewed.

LOL!!

Are you seriously comparing Barrios' 'head butt' to Zidane's??!! Laughable!!

That's like saying every foul should be a red!!

There are degrees of severity for all contact otherwise nobody would last on the pitch!!

Not really, more like every headbutt should be a red...are you saying it shouldn't?

EVERY headbutt, yes. But, stonerblue picked out Barrios' action, not Henderson's.

They both received yellows, so the punishment was even handed.

At the end of the day, the World Cup has pretty much been relaxed with certain offences.

Designed to keep players on the pitch.

In a normal league, they'd have both been off.

Brazil got fuck all for all the previous diving they have done, lessons won't be learned, diving modern footballers are spoiling this game and not just Brazilians.
