Yes really, they only review if they're unsure the ball was grounded or if there's controversy in the build up.
Exactly. Its a good proportion
Exactly!Mardarses, have they ever been in the 3rd division
United fans think refs have got a conspiracy against them. It isn’t just City that get bad decisions given against them.
Thankyou VAR - And bye bye Germany !
Those against this coming into the game. Get a grip!
Yes, their fans think that, like the bin dippers fans do too. However both clubs know exactly how they are treated, hence they voted against it and will never vote for VAR as it will level the playing field for all the other 16 teams significantly...
Give it a rest ! How many times do people have to say what we are against is subjective penalty decisions that are 50/50. As we have said all along Offside s and where incidents happen yes use VAR. Any thing else e.g. dodgy pens never never never !!
West Ham fans do aswell.
Pretty sure all club fans.
It's corrected loads of originally incorrect subjective ref decisions.. that isn't the issue. The issue is the consistency of when it's used, e.g. Argentina, Kane and Serbia incidents. All subjective but all clear pens, which would have been given but for some reason VAR didn't kick in. That's the issue. Not the subjectivity of it, the old system is the height of subjectivity...

who won the bloody war anyway !!Don't mention the VAR. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.
Really ? Subjective means some think it's a pen and others don't ! There s been loads of decisions that have been subject to the whims of whether the VAR panel think it's a pen or not and loads that haven't been given that many disagree with. It's a farce in terms of pens because it's just a matter of opinion. How many times do we have to say that !? It just can't work for pens. Offside and where an incident takes place yes but pens never.
The real issue is the vagueness of the rules regarding fouls in general. They'd have to make them significantly more specific before you'd ever get consensus on 80% of challenges, but I'd still rather have a referee make his subjective call having seen exactly what happened using VAR.Really ? (Stolen from Ric on the other thread)
Absoulutly spot on.
It’s annoying that VAR will get it right 9 times out of 10 but as soon as there’s a mistake it gets completely jumped on and the moaners come screaming out the woodwork totally forgetting how many times Refs with no help got decisions wrong.
Agree it also adds to the excitement
Spot on. Every single time City score a goal or there is a penalty incident from now on if we have VAR then there is no point in celebrating the goal until we've had it confirmed by mission control two minutes later.Absolutely ridiculous ! As for VAR giving the ref the opportunity to make the correct "subjective" decision 're a pen well iv e seen many decisions given in this world cup and our own cup competitions last year where in my Subjective opinion VAR got it wrong. That doesn't even cover the fact that these clowns are being very selective in what they believe should be reviewed or not e.g. the Kane penalties. If you think curtailing an instant celebration after a goal so you can watch the ref watch a telly then wait for the decision before re-celebrating or putting your head in your hands is exciting then yeah, it's brill.
