Worst away trip.....

Bolton - IT'S SHIT! No pubs, no beer in ground, no fans (us or them), no atmosphere, it's cold, and there's an erie feel of it being an inbred area!

Pompey - (when it had no roof on)! went there one year, i was hung over, took 7 hours to get there, it pissed down during the game, there was like one porta-loo and a hot dog stand for the away fans, we lost, it rained some more, still felt like shit from the night before, took 6 hours to get home and nobody wanted to go out with me when we got back so went to bed - SHIT DAY!

Pompey cant remember the year but me and my brother drove down got timings wrong ended up there dead early we went 1-0 up and ended up losing 4-1 then on way home car broke down had to sleep in it overnight and to make it worse the lay-by we got toed to was opposite a fecking graveyard we almost froze to death but even with the disappointment we still make the trips to these away games :)

brum away about 5 years ago. heskey scored the winner for them. for some rerason i ended up goin to the game in shorts and wearing no socks. the car broke down on the way to the game so we were late. the aa man came about 2 hours after the game and "fixed" the car. about a mile up the motor way the car had smoke coming out of bonnet. took another 2 hours for the toe truck to come and i had to go back to wales with my dad. i didnt get home till like 5.30 in the morning.

Once dropped acid , magic mushrooms and pcp at an FA cup tie at Halifax, was convinced we lost the game as well, ended up on a beach in Brighton, singing "Can you see the real me?" at 4 o'clock inthe morning cos I'd missed the 5.15.

Charlton away Xmas 1986 5-0 at Selhurst Park. They hadn't scored a goal since we beat em 2-1 at Maine Road the previous November.

Palace 4-0 League Cup Q/F 1995

York 2-1

Swamp 5-0

Cardiff FA Cup 1-0

Just for starters. I could go on

That game would be in my BEST away game mate !!! Water canons in the streets, fighting in the stands, everyone running all over railway tracks to get back on station..won the game, good drink..nah that was a great away game for me

Was the best awat trip, just probably the worst away game, because I didnt see fook all. Also was in the middle of it asll kicking off. Them belguim faries, they think because they make good chocolate they can fight aswell

I wasn't aware there was any trouble. Shame if its true.

Worst away was Oldham in the 80's.Went by myself, stood in the pouring rain and sat on the train all the way back to Euston with a soaking wet t-shirt. I think we drew 0-0.

It turned out the fighting at Lokeren was the Belgiums fighting amongst themselves,(Antwerp fans i heard)but from behind the goals were we were it looked as though it was City fans involved, and it was because there had been a load of shirt swapping before the game, but am pretty sure that City who were sat in that stand got stuck in anyway !!!
