The bell could have been used to warn Sean Connery.A bell. surely you could give her something better?
True this .. he refused to appear in the longest day unless his name appeared at the very top of the credits at the endingFucking horrific. I can only assume that public appetite for cowboy/war films and the familiar kept him in work, or maybe he had dirt on Hollywood bigwigs.
True this ... as a condition he appeared in the longest day it was a contractual agreement his name appeared first and in large type writing in the closing credits ... seriously this is probably one the greatest films you will ever get in a all star cast at the time. Richard Burton and Kenneth Moore .. John you wasn’t fit to be their brew boy.Fucking horrific. I can only assume that public appetite for cowboy/war films and the familiar kept him in work, or maybe he had dirt on Hollywood bigwigs.
I quite enjoy arnie films, but the pretexts they had to create to shoehorn his physique, and poor English /acting into the plot are pretty ingenious. Not sure a lot of these are bad actors, some can only play a certain type of character but have been great in some great films. They have been badly cast sometimes.Arnie was great in Terminator,Reeves in Matrix. Same as Michael Caine can be terrible but in the right film brilliant.
Anyway my choice Jason Statham.
The Terminator was the perfect foil for Arnie.I quite enjoy arnie films, but the pretexts they had to create to shoehorn his physique, and poor English /acting into the plot are pretty ingenious.
