Worst City 11 in history..

How anyone in their right mind can include Richard Edghill in their all-time worst XI is beyond me.

At that time, he was expected to patrol the whole of the right- hand side of our defence AND midfield and he was hounded out of the club by a bunch of morons who didn't or couldn't see what was happening.

Extremely well said. I've seen both Edghill and Curle mentioned in this thread and had to draw breath.

It should really be a worse City side on a value for money basis based on the money spent at the time against comparable transfers or wages being paid. Some of the players mentioned were free transfers/couple of hundred grand and probably on £100 a week.

Surely these players would get a mention

Robinho
Santa Cruz
George Weah
Wayne Bridge
Steve Daley
Lee Bradbury
Michael Robinson
Kevin Reeves
Robbie Fowler
Steve Mcmanaman
Terry Phelan
Samaras
Vuoso
Adebayor

Nicky Summerbee
Gary Megson
Samaras
Mcmanaman
Michael Ball

Curle was class. Edgehill was average but tried hard.

Surely Mike Walsh and Tony Cunningham should be in there?

Very true mate.

Yes, Tony Cunningham, a man who surely coined the phrase 'head like a sheriffs badge', felt sorry for him a bit, like Mark Lillis, tried his heart out but just wasn't very good.

Whil I agree Edghill wasn't the greatest player we have ever had, he was certainly nowhere near the worst and shouldn't be anywhere near this thread.
