A night match when Bradbury equalised late on.
Alot of city old boys showed up for the fixture.
Mainly intimidation from the Millwall fans, but it did look a little bit like Beirut outside afterwards.
About 20 of us had gone down in a minibus and had parked on an estate about half a mile from the ground.
So an edgy walk back to say the least

Kept us locked up in ground for over an hour after. Was like a war zone outside feds beat the fuk out of them by looks of it escorted all way back to station. Good old days

All day long. Was at game when he went off at HT pissing himself how he cheated a goal for us scoring blatently with his hand. Got subbed I think at the interval never came out again

I agree with an awful lot of players in their, No way should Bravo be in this category. Most of the time he was a League Cup goalkeeper and was outstanding for us in that competition playing huge parts of us winning it numerous times.

Shay Given was dogshit with us along with David James, Andreas Isaksson ect worse than Bravo.

You know what mate, I’d watched McMinimum when he was a wiry kid at Liverpool, and even when he went to Madrid, he was superb and literally unplayable on his day, but as his time at Madrid went on, you could see once he lost that youthfulness and energy, he became a lazy arrogant fuck, so I was really against his signing.
His debut though, as you say was magnificent and even I , despite what I’d seen previously, thought maybe I’d got it wrong, so you weren’t the only one to be fooled ;-)
