Worst ever night watching City?

Can't say it really bothered me .... City have let me down too often in all my years of watchin' them to single one night out as bein' worse than a few others ..... and to be honest i half expected it anyway!

It was hardly much better after we'd lost that night league game there 5-0 some years earlier , i think it was mid nineties.

The rags themselves would probably say the same of life after two or three defeats at City ..... especially the final derby at Maine Road when they lost 3-1 , the 5-1 1989 rout , and the 4-1 at COMS .... albeit none of them were actually night games.

The main difference being that a percentage of rags just can't take defeat , and have to start attackin' all and sundry in the aftermath ....... whereas City fans , in the main , debate it , it write it off , and just move on to the next game.

I was sat in the Stretford End when we lost 5-0..............aaarrrrgghh!!!!!!!!
Second worst? Losing to Doncaster Rovers in the League Cup under Phsyco Pearce was a pretty low point - especially as I got a speeding ticket en route the hell outa there!

chelsea away 1984 milk cup lost 4-1, we were shite, hardly any blues there and they had 100s out waiting for us before and after the game, it was very dodgy to say the least

81 cup final replay gutted after with a long journey home

95 crystal palace away league cup quarter final 0-4, typical this is our year, good drink before then disaster, really long journey home and woke up to being driven down some country lanes by the coach driver, i asked him where we were and he said hed lost the M6 !!! you can imagine my reply

0-5 at the swamp, drove down on my own, two minutes into the second half they scored for 0-3 so i left, hate watching them scum celebrate, as i got in at home turned the tv on and they scored again !!! for 0-5 i couldnt believe it

weve had some good nights though and i really hope alot more to come

COME ON CITY

1st . The 0-1 defeat at Halifax back in 1980 .
2nd . The 0-2 defeat at Shrewsbury about 1981 ?

went to the Chelsea game on one of the Mayneline coaches, the organisation wasn't very good, infact it was non-existant,got in the ground at half time, think we were 3-0 down, got home about 4 in the morning after being held in Victoria tube for about an hour, still can't think what possessed me to travel on that but i suppose you do daft things when your a kid

the huddersfield game for me,was a fri night,i remember thinking what am i doing here watching this garbage, the protest after the match cheered me up a bit though!

0-4 v Sunderland in 1980-81 at Maine Road...or was it 1-4? Ally McCoist scored a hat-trick and we were utterly leathered off the pitch.

The season then changed around Christmas time. And then some!

November 1995, drawing 0-0 against Wimbledon. Freezing cold, pissing it down, minging. Left my seat 5 mins early only to hear us score as I walked on the car park outside the Kippax. I still couldn't give a shit about it we had played that poor.

that was my first ever game.

surprised im still here!

The one i can vividly remember is the Hamburg game, brilliant game but absolutely gutting afterwards, just thinking we were 3 games away from the istanbul final and we blew it again, gutted.
