I remember one by Mike Channon against Liverpool at Maine Road in the 78/79 season. They beat us 4-1 and he must have missed 5 or 6 one-on-ones or literally open goals.

We could easily have got 4 or more goals ourselves that day and I've never heard a player take as much abuse as he did that day.

If you think he was poor at Spurs you should have seen him away at Santander. He was subbed at half-time and definitely didn't need a shower, as he hadn't moved in the first 45 minutes.
