worst ref decision ever?

Watford v Reading last season. Stuart Atwell allowed a 'ghost goal' for Reading to stand which had actually gone four yards wide of the post and out for a corner.

This clown is now reffing in the premiership !!

Alf Grey ( I think ) against Kevin Reeves in L C semi in 1981 for a foul on Ray Clemence , I ve only seen it that one time on the night and it still bugs me !!!

Without a shadow of a doubt it has to be this.

Back in the 70s when Leeds were winning everything they had a game at Elland Road against West Brom, the ball was hoofed forward by the west brom defence towards Jeff Astle I think, who was absolutely miles offside, every player Leeds and West Brom stopped but Astle ran forward towards the Leeds goal and shot into the goal the ref then pointed to the centre circle and gave the goal. This actually cost Leeds the title that year it was the worst reffing decision I have ever seen but as everyone hated Leeds anyway it caused deep joy throughout the land.

Women & football do not mix!!!

David Ellerey in the FA Cup semi final Boro v Chesterfield at Old Trafford.

Chesterfield score might have been young Kevin Davies and the ball bounces over the line, players appealed for a goal and the play was waved on and then a foul given for Boro`.

In an interview after the game the ref Ellerey (tosser) said he disallowed the goal because of a foul, this foul took place after the ball crossed the line so he was totally wrong. Never again did he speak about his decision and it cost little old Chesterfield an FA cup final place. Disgrace.
