Would like to get a count of fellow Yanks

Washington, D.C. Been a blue since my favorite player (and fellow UVA grad), Claudio Reyna, came to City.

Hey Blues! I rarely post on here, not really sure why as I am reading threads just about everyday. But anyway I am also in the United States. Have been living in Kentucky (hence the username), but I am currently in Nashville, TN. Any other fellow blues in the area?

NEW YORK FUCKIN CITY!!!!

Been a Blue since Tony Book was manager and Joe Corrigan was in goal!!!! try being a Blue before the internet and when there was hardly any TV coverage!!!

BTW I was the 2nd person ever to post on Bluemoon. The 1st was a Bulgarian lad, Evgeny!

First time i came to the US was 1983 (aged 20) and was totally reliant upon BBC World Service for scores and when in New York it was regular trips down to 42nd Street (then a fucking right sleazy area) to the ''Out of Town'' newspaper shop where the papers would arrive a day later than printed.
So I'd get Saturday's results Monday afternoon.

The bloke in the shop once asked me who I supported and when I said City, he told me with pride that Dennis Tueart would pull up outside his shop each day just to buy the English papers :)

Ha ha great story MES!!! Also had to rely on the Beeb and Paddy Feeney he was a right charecter. Loved the reading of the classified football results!!!! You could tell by the readers voice inflextion after they read the home teams score what the result would be. I remember that place on 42nd Street as well. I would schlep in on a Sunday late morning to get the foreign papers. It was called Hoatlings. Doubt its still there as the interweb probably killed it!!!

I think I'm a bit of a strange case, born in England...but to American parents. Raised in the Philly area, now living in DC.

Upstate NY here, citizen but originally from Bosnia. Loved City even before Dzeko joined but wasn't interested in football much, now can't live without it. Can't wait to go see City vs. Liverpool on the 26th at the Mad Hatter Bar in NYC.

Where "upstate" then?? When you live in the big city upstate is anywhere north of Da Bronx. That could be Yonkers or Plattsburgh FFS!!! Grew up in Dutchess County myself!!!

Middle America here (Midwest they call it, otherwise known as a "Flyover State"). Rock Island, IL. Drive over the Mighty Mississippi every day to go to work. 6:45am kickoff against Arsenal, then a nap.
