Would Mario Balotelli have made a difference

Bony has been very poor this season but he did have a few bright moments and was pivotal in our win at Seville. Not convinced that Mario would have done much more .
He has done precious little for anyone since our first title and wasn't exactly consistent then.

Lol No, Mario lovely guy but simply not a top class player, he was found out a long time ago.

MLS or China next stop for Mario

He could have been a top class player, but he decided that was way too much effort. He worked out that in this fucked up world he could earn enough to buy camouflaged Bentleys and multi million pound houses by simply turning up. Why bother to apply yourself when it all comes to you that easily?
You're right that China or MLS are tailor made, they're the ultimate pay day for the footballing slackers and have beens who couldn't care less about pride, fans, reputation, integrity, and all that old fashioned bollocks.

Mario would be a major star in the MLS

He has the charisma, and playing in a very poor standard of football would make him look like Pele.

If Bradley Wright Phillips can tear the place up, Mario will be utterly stunning.

Ps but for certain I am sure he regrets leaving City, I genuinely think he loved playing for us, such a shame he messed up.

He'd have made a huge difference. An 8th place finish, 4 red cards, 7 UEFA fines, a full-on squad mutiny, 17 training ground fights and the CFA reduced to ash in "an unforeseen incident". City TV would have had more hits on YouTube though.

Peter Kay would have been just as effective as Mario, plenty of japes off the pitch but not much influence on it.

He couldn't produce it with his 'dad' Bob at a club where he was given more rope than possibly anyother player has ever had.

He has the attitude the world's against me and tries to compensate by being what he thinks is the life and soul of the party, thinks people are laughing with him sadly the majority of time they're laughing at him.

Someone who annoyed the fuck out of me like Dzeko could have made the difference but Mario, no chance.

Given the last few seasons he's had at Pool and Milan, hell to the no. Dzeko might have made a difference. Jovetic might have made a difference. With Tevez we'd most certainly be right up there with Leicester. But Mario? Forget him.

It's a damn shame really, the kid had the world at his feet in 2012, 21 years old, just won the prem and then destroyed Germany in the semi-finals of the Euros, lose in the final and it all went down hill from there. Would have become world-class if he wasn't so childish/mentally weak and probably still be here.

I never saw the talent at all in Mario, overrated, would have struggled in championship, sorry but just could not see anything in him, but a crap attitude!

Hahahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

There is no problem that Mario Balotelli cannot make worse.

He would have dicked about as usual, utterly useless

Like fuck he would.

Straws and clutching at springs to mind!

We cannot expect anything much from him until he grow up mentally. Anyway I thank him for being here at 93min of that game.

Fucking hell of all the players.

+1 to all of the above, and they're just from the 1st page...

Do they answer your question @TBooksbluearmy ?

I know Mario had a lot of baggage when he was here. However putting that to one side would he have made a difference to the team this season had he still been here. Even if he didn't play all the games this season, I am quite confident that he would have given us the points in certain games to have finished comfortably in the top 2. Even in first place if he had played those games where Sergio was out injured.

Absolutely he would have made a difference, we would have had more red cards this season :)
