Would Mario Balotelli have made a difference

Definitely.........

His off field antics and training ground bust ups would have took the media attention away from us being a bit shit on the pitch.

His energy would have been useful.

To me, Balo will always be a cult hero. Never a footballing hero.

Whatever his faults and they were many and dove us all crazy, he was worth all the hassle just for the WINK to WIO.

That incident brought me so much joy and pleasure, and in a perverse way I knew we had arrived at the top table. A fool like Mario winking at Wio and the red t#at and his teammates completely lost the plot.

Pure comedy gold, Mario thank you, I will never forget that moment.

No, no and no but the soap opera starring Mad Mario, Carlos the golfer and Mussolini Mancini was a bloody sight more entertaining and enjoyable than what we've become. We've gone from one extreme to the other. We're more professional now but its all a bit boring.

I'd probably at least be having a bit more fun watching us.

Didn't find him that fun when he was too busy being a liability sulking or getting sent off in crucial matches. He was as fun as often as he played well, about once every 5 or 6 matches.

When exactly was that ??

I feel you mate.
Mario never showed even a glimpse of the kind of quality to be worthy of the hype surrounding him.
Bale is one year older than him and already ten times the player Mario will never be. Hell, he would even suffer from the comparison to the likes of Hazard,Griezman and co.
A player with a decent package though, could have been a great n°9 and a successful career if he had what it takes to grind your way up the ladder.
In a team of bottlers, he would be the leading king.

Sorry OP but all the handlers at Heathrow, Gatwick, and Manchester airport couldn't put aside the baggage with which Mario travels. Even Klopp, for all his vaunted player relations, won't be tempted to recall him from his loan.

I feel confident that we'd be two places lower and filling all the wrong kind of column inches.

Dreadful, spoilt footballer with the worst attitude I think I've ever witnessed. What makes you think he'd have added something? He's not consistently added anything positive to any club he's been at so far, save for the very occasional glimmer of a latent talent going unrealized. Time is running out for that lad and he still doesn't see it.
he's gonna look back at his career with regret

i see alot of players that doesn't have the ability that balo as but they're having better careers than him.
but i think its too late for balo, what a waste of talent he as turn out to be.

I don't I ever laughed so much after I returned home and watched the footage. It was indeed pure comedy gold.

I know Mario had a lot of baggage when he was here. However putting that to one side would he have made a difference to the team this season had he still been here. Even if he didn't play all the games this season, I am quite confident that he would have given us the points in certain games to have finished comfortably in the top 2. Even in first place if he had played those games where Sergio was out injured.
I'm of the opposite position

I don't think he will. With every failed move he makes, he gets paid off and then gets a nice new signing on fee, not to mention a rather lucrative wage packet. His main focus in life is living his lavish lifestyle, and his failings have enabled him to do that to an even greater extent as he's received more money through flopping than he would have done if he'd been a success. He'll be delirious.

I'd suspect our Mario would have lost the plot numerous times this season and picked up a collection of yellow / red cards. So, yeah, he'd have made a difference to our disciplinary record.

Lad never seems focused on his football. I'll bet if he was here this season we might actually seen Bony in a different light.

I don't think he realized the opportunity he had at City under Mancini. He had a club that was steadily bringing in top players alongside him, great wages and training facilities, a manager that had his back and was like a farther to him, a cult following that would have only grown as he did as a player with us... he could have fulfilled his potential he had everything he needed with us had he wanted it enough.

I am confident of the absolute opposite based on what i have and continue to see from him, not a lot.
He may have got 1 screamer and nicked us an unlikely win but just as likely to have left us in the lurch due to a silly ban for stupidity.

Top bloke but not someone you can rely on as a player for your team.
