Would Mario Balotelli have made a difference

This thread is a good indicator that our season has been utterly shitty and running out of thread title ideas.
No worries transfer thread will be buzzing soon :)

Couldn't be bothered to read all the other comments. But this is probably the most bizarre post I've ever read. Plenty of players we've let go recently could have made a difference Barry, Dzeko, Milner all spring to mind but Mario? Are you mad?

I'm amazed at how quickly some blues forget how he was much closer to losing us that fist title with his antics. Iirc, the important goals were not as frequent as the stupid red cards. Good laugh, love the lad, good penalty taker, no thanks.

Mario would have livened up some very dull games over the last two seasons. Admittedly not always for the right reasons but the stodgy, predictable fare we serve up far too often these days could do with some spice.

He's not exactly set Serie A on fire this season, so he wouldn't have come anywhere near! For the few extra points that we needed this season we could have played any one of ten EDS players and it would have been an improvement on what Mario could have done. He went steadily downhill after 93:20. Before that he was superb - let's not forget his contribution!

Ballotelli, Dzeko, Tevez all would've made a difference. We Have one decent striker, one very promising striker and not much else. Much to do this summer..

I don't think Balotelli would have made a difference to our season. He would have provided a perfect scape goat for the rest of the lazy fuckers to hide behind though, as you can be sure the media would have been all over him!

Dzeko has been a miss this season, more so than I ever expected.

Yes I believe he would have made a difference. In fact I was thinking this yesterday... If Mancini was manager and had the team we have now would he have made a difference and I really believe he would have. Either good or bad, Mancini (And the team at that time) were more vocal and more passionate, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didnt, but it was exciting ffs.

Regardless of his shit attitude very few could disagree that he would have had any less of an impact than Bony has had. You always knew that Mario could produce something out of nothing as he did for us on many occasions.

His biggest problem was his tendency to produce nothing out of something unfortunately - and I loved the lad.
