I do find it odd how so many people seem to rewrite the history of some of our players. Yaya wasn't that good, Tevez had a poor attitude and was a mercenary etc!
Tevez was world class and simply outstanding. He would walk into this team now and be the captain of it. Simple as that - no ifs, no buts. He had the aggression of Fernandinho, the strength of Dias, could finish, could set up and led by example. He was absolutely superb, without any question. Jeez, I don't like the guy but Fergie could recognise a decent player and he wanted to keep him and Mancini took Tevez up a whole new level above that!
We should treasure our legends. Tevez scored big, big goals for us and was instrumental in winning our first title for 45 years - that's what he should be remembered for. Why some people choose to focus on squabbles is beyond me.
Carlos Tevez was a world class footballer that we were very lucky to watch. He was an outstanding talent and helped City win their first title against our bitterest rivals. He would walk into this team even now. That's all you need to know.
