Would Tevez have done well in Pep's system?

Tevez would fit perfectly into Pep's system until such time as he was sat. And then he'd fuck off to play golf.

Tevez was, IMO, our most talented signing in recent memory - but at the same time a mercurial nutjob who couldn't get along with numerous managers both for club and country to his detriment.

a genuine one-of-a-kind, could affect any game at any time. We probably saw the very best of him. A team player though? I am not convinced. Pep puts team ethic above all, imo, lone wolf is not on his radar. We'll never know so will leave it there, grateful for what he gave us.

I do find it odd how so many people seem to rewrite the history of some of our players. Yaya wasn't that good, Tevez had a poor attitude and was a mercenary etc!
He missed half the season because he got into a scrap with the manager in our first ever CL campaign! It's hardly rewriting history to say he possibly had an attitude!

The best finisher we’ve ever had and I included Sergio in that statement. I don’t think any team he ever played with saw his true potential, he was such a talented player, just a bit of a nutter.

I’ll always remember Wigan away a few years back and he chased the ball down back to the keeper and did a superman dive to try block the keeper kicking it away.

Such a hard working striker, with great stamina, engine. Certainly he would have done well imo better than Kun Aguero who did have to adjust more his game to fit Peps tactics and also he kind of ran into some very frequent injury problems in his last two years.

Pep loves hard working players, imo Bernardo and Dinho were two of his favourites in last few years.

tevez would thrive under peps system, can you imagine having a team that try to press the tevez way. I am not sure if him and pep would get on, although if you asked pep he would compliment him as a player.

i wish we could have seen it, tevez one of my all time favourites to watch from the terraces. He was a natural footballer, i will never forget when he went missing, then came back and ran the show at norwich away even though he hadnt long been back or played a game to warm up.

a lot of the crosses that you see go in to the box from the wings but yet our players are a yard behind the ball or a yard in front of the ball would have been run on to perfectly by tevez. He could read the game like no other player.

What would pep think of bellamy, as a player though ?

Nah. He was relentless and took shots whenever the sight of goal opened up in front of him. He was a good finisher, but he often scored because he’d have 8 of our 10 shots on goal.

Undoubtedly, on the pitch. The technique, desire and work rate were first class. He could play in several positions and is aggressive. Easily a £100m player if in today's market.

I guess off it depends on whether tevez would have bought into pep and his systems. He's either be an exemplary champion of it, or spend his time on the golf course instead.
