Would Tevez have done well in Pep's system?

Great players usually have a bit of a short circuit, so yes I think Jesus does need a bit of controlled aggressive attitude to improve his game. He's not as bad as he was though, when he used to throw himself down in the box with a silly caricature-like slapped arse face trying to con the ref he'd just been shot.

showed again that he is just not decisive enough when in front of goal....passed to KDB who then hit the bar instead of pulling the trigger himself.....he lacks killer instinct

If he brought into it imo he could have been phenomenal.. like Peps go to guy. His press from the front could have been coached into being the best in the world.. could have caused so many mistakes and turnovers that resulted in City goals.

However, we are talking about Tevez here. So it is just as likely that he runs over to Pep after scoring and teabags him live on tv as it is that he follows his precise instructions.

Tevez was fucking amazing - massively talented.

The problem with Tevez is that he'd often fall out in some sort of argument/disagreement with his manager.

Maybe Pep could have avoided this aspect of Tevez's personality - but I doubt it very much.

Pep will not start off-form players and will substitute in-form players tactically in order to protect them from injury in upcoming matches - and that would be intolerable (IMO) to Tevez - some sort of blowup would ensue and Tevez would be off.

Having said this - an in-form, Tevez would absolutely fit into Pep's system - allowance might have to be made for Tevez's wandering around the pitch to find the ball (even if the manager doesn't want him to).
