Would you be "bitter" if it happened to another club?

For over 100yrs this has been happening, don't be brainwashed into thinking this is unique.
It's interesting to see the flak we get off bayern when they themselves were riddled with massive debt and about to become extinct until a mega rich backer came in and well you know the rest.
Put "the stain in the underpants of football"into google to see how good old arsenal became winners after 30yrs of nothing.
The rags had TWO very wealthy owners early to mid 1900's the firstthat bought them the swamp and earned them the nickname "moneybags utd," the 2nd that ploughed a huge sum of money into buying young players from all corners of Britain and Ireland.
The 2 scouse teams owe everything they have done from the mid 50's to the Moores family that owned Littlewoods pools.
Etc.

Well said mate. It's worse with us now as it's a more media driven world that we live in.

Too right I would. Can you imagine if it was Spurs. I'd have fucking kittens.

But Mario lights fireworks and acts boisterously. Unacceptable.

Re: Would you be "bitter" if it happined to another club?

Were anyone's Great Grandads unhappy when it happened to United in the first decade of the 1900's? What about anyone's Grandads when it happened to Arsenal in the 1920's? What about some of you older lot when it happened to the Scouse clubs with the Littlewood's "Mersey Millions" in the 60's? How did people feel when United spent more money on a team than had ever been spent before after going over a quarter of a century without winning the league? How did I feel when I saw Blackburn and then Chelsea do it?

Football is a business and to be the best you have to invest. I'd actually really like to see West Ham get an owner like ours and become a top team also. The more competition the better.

Re: Would you be "bitter" if it happined to another club?

I was annoyed with both Chelsea and Shauny for what happened when he left but I learnt to get over it not like Everton fans who still cry at night over Lescott...

If someone else got a take over I'd be fine with it... We got ours.

Re: Would you be "bitter" if it happined to another club?

Only one team I'd hate it to happen too, obvious at that is. Anyone else, good luck to them.

Re: Would you be "bitter" if it happined to another club?

nope.
i was well pleased for chelsea when they got rich.

city are city and i think most on here agree that whilst its nice to be where are had the money not come around we'd still love our fantastic club regardless of where we play and regardless of what dosh another has and what they win with that dosh.
