Would You drop out of Both Cups for Champs League?

just like to know what doors the cl has opened for spuds cos i dont see theyve attracted to much inthe way of top class players and the cash it generates is not to important to us.also if we ended up 4th then didnt win the qualifying round and sacrificed the fa cup in sustaining 4th place i would be pretty sick.

Spurs are not the richest club in the world with ambitions to dominate European football and buying the best players in the world.

I'd rather win the FA Cup to get a trophy under our belt, then we can ease the pressure and next season go for something better I.E the premier league.
Champs league is along way away for us winning it so that can wait for us taking part until this squad and the manager are singing from the same sheet.

pretty naive thinking...

even sheik won't spend his millions for years if he does not get some return. And he won't get it from FA Cup.

Champions League or there are nice chances City won't be anything more than Spurs are now for years.

It's pretty selfish and short-term to wish FA over Champions League and long time stability. Let them build stable team, regular Champions League member and you'll see many FA Cups and titles in the future. Win FA, miss Champions League again and we risk that not to happen soon.

As far as I can see, Sheikh Mansour is in this project for the long term and it depends on how he defines the return on his investment.

I think the only objective that matters is the top four and I also think Roberto will be here next season ...

Check out Yas Marina as an F1 venue : -

The point about F1 is that its the same family and Sheikh Mansour seems pretty well advised and he's also made some wise investments.
