Would you go for Johnson or Milner

Hope Milner does not play gives us nothing!! Johnson has bin quiet of late but you know he he has what it takes to do something special whereas Milner is constantly average at best. Would play Dzeko for his height aswell thought he won alot last night and keep Pat away from the line up ffs!!!! My team......

and contributing very little. I would go for AJ.

Thought we saw the Villa Milner last night - contender for MOTM.

Our problem for most of the season has been that whichever one we put in, we wish we'd have chosen the other one. I can't readily remember a player coming in the team, getting his chance after a slot of subbing, and playing a stormer, that made us think that that element of the Holy Grail had been achieved.

Agreed, bit bloody fraustrating really. However what I think we can all agree on, is that Johnson makes a much better substitute than Milner. So I'd say start with Jimmy, see how it's panning out, then send Johnson on at 60 minutes to run at some tired legs for half an hour (everything else in the match depending).

Can't see Tevez starting after being out for so long.
Maybe the same for Barry, but different situation.
I take the point about Kolarov getting the nod ahead of Zab cos of height/speed.

Our attacking options will probably be dictated to some extent by who they have fit, ie- Huth and Pennant.
Milner got more crosses in, but still don't think it suited Dzeko. With time it should work out, but only 3 days to go.

It's going to be an interesting team selection!!!

As for the original question, I'd definately go with Milner, but wouldn't be surprised if neither started.

This has gotta be a wind-up?

The lad has hardly featured much at all this season, but in the First Half he looked like he had been in the team all along.

Excellent in the First, faded in the Second. Similarly Dzeko to a lesser extent.

Thought his attitudes in this game and against WHU when he came on was first rate, considering his annoyance (shall we say) at Bob during the Liverpool match.

I was more concerned with the non-existence of Yaya and De Jong throughout the game last night.
