Would You Have Rafa?

If City win the FA Cup this season and qualify for the Champs League then I think Bobby deserves another season.

If he was to go then I would be happy with Rafa. His work with Valencia, Liverpool (whilst not perfect) and the current Chelsea show that he is a good manager.
Put the crackpipe down. Its a Sunday for christsake.
He's shown at Chelsea that he's skin like a rhino, but nothing else

If the thick liverpool fans would have let the owners sack him when they first wanted to, they wouldn't be in the terminal decline that they are now in.
So no.

wey, hey........Dean Winchester! Quality gif.

If Bobby wasn't the Manager of City ( and I pray that he will be for a long time yet) then we could certainly do a lot worse than Rafa.

I would certainly have him in charge before Pelligrini,Hiddink, Brenda, Martinez, De Boer and Laudrup just some of the suggestions that have come up on the Mancini threads recently.

Proven at every level of the game. What wouldn't you like?

Valencia
La Liga (2): 2001–02, 2003–04
UEFA Cup (1): 2003–04

Liverpool
FA Cup (1): 2005–06
FA Community Shield (1): 2006
UEFA Champions League (1): 2004–05
UEFA Super Cup (1): 2005

Internazionale
Supercoppa Italiana (1): 2010
FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2010

Just here to highlight the fact that he inherited an Inter team who were the past season's treble winners.

Not to mention that the comunity shield, uefa super cup and fifa world cup are about as meaningful as the joan gamper trophy that we won.

Jesus
Some of the replies here are top drawer.
I'd prefer he didn't take over from Bob but if he did , it wouldn't mean I'd spit my dummy out.
Last time I looked I was a City fan, not a fan of a certain player or manager. They will come and go on a regular basis and the only constant in all of this will be MCFC.
So, if Bob goes and Rafa or Klopp or Pellegrini takes his place , then guess what?
I ll still be there next season supporting the team (and taking the piss in regular increments)

Come on, give the guy a break. He is a brilliant manager and as he is Spanish he would maybe bring Torres with him.

Yep and could the best out of Silva....

Oh is that how it works? Players only show their best form playing for a manager from their home country?

Has a similar trophy haul to Mancini and has better European Record but is not a good option for the long term.

What's he done since winning the FA Cup with Liverpool? Don't bring up Inter.

Once a really, really good manager. Not anymore. So no.

Got a team to a European final? Obviously I'll come back and update this comment when hes won it as I expect Chelsea to do. So a yes.

Only problem is that he seems a bit too pally with uniteds manager

I think he has a decent CV (and it cheese's off the old piss can no end - so it can't be that bad!) and he has done an excellent job with Chelsea this season.
Not my first choice but it could be worse (Brendan Rodgers FFS!).
Overall I think he a decent manager and a decent bloke.
100% respect to him for his 'Facts' rant against slur alex. He was 100% right then and he is still 100% right now. He was the first (and probably only manager) to have the balls to raise the subject in the manner he did - respect!.
