Would You Have Rafa?

Too negative, too rigid, too obsessed about rotation, makes enemies left and right, is a general ****.

So I guess that's a no.

Why are we even discussing this?!? :o

Because its something different. Like I said, "if city and Mancini were to part company". I hope we dont as I love Mancini.

Hope it doesn't happen because I love Mancini, but if we parted company for whatever reason, would you have Rafa Benitez as Manager? I would in a heartbeat and think he is a very good manager, especially in European Football.

Thoughts?

A dry bumming by Rab C Nesbitt would be far morer appealing than that twat managing our club

The thought of Red Dippers phoning talk shite telling eveyone that Mancini is not fit to lace Rafa boots blah blah blah does not bear thinking

Not for me.

Whilst I might not be one of Bobs biggest admirers, he has done a very good job and only the like of Jose or Pep would be an upgrade as far as im concerned.

Bob will get at least another season anyway imo.

I would have Rafa

to serve my sangria
change the clutch on my car
put some shelves up in the back room
fix the leaky washer on the kitchen tap
read my electric meter
drive the mini bus to town on the piss
put a bit of coving up in the porch
drop the prescription off at me mums in a small white van
lots of things really, but run my football club. Id rather boil my own my arse.

He can move back to merseyside inspired to steal hubcaps and be over sentimental like the rest of them.

If City win the FA Cup this season and qualify for the Champs League then I think Bobby deserves another season.

If he was to go then I would be happy with Rafa. His work with Valencia, Liverpool (whilst not perfect) and the current Chelsea show that he is a good manager.

Proven at every level of the game. What wouldn't you like?

Valencia
La Liga (2): 2001–02, 2003–04
UEFA Cup (1): 2003–04

Liverpool
FA Cup (1): 2005–06
FA Community Shield (1): 2006
UEFA Champions League (1): 2004–05
UEFA Super Cup (1): 2005

Internazionale
Supercoppa Italiana (1): 2010
FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2010

Just here to highlight the fact that he inherited an Inter team who were the past season's treble winners.

Yes, a team with most of the members 30+ and a team which got no reinforcements, when needed.
