Went town yesterday and thought it looked like a shithole !! Corn sellers on market st … what’s that about

The Chinese community (think there is a massive student residence around Oxford rd area) seem to be the majority of the people queuing at Federal and other places.

There's a massive Chinese student community in that area. I come into regular contact with them when swimming at the Aquatics Centre on Oxford Road. Unfortunately a few of them don't seem to understand the difference between "clockwise" and "anti clockwise" when lane swimming much to the frustration of the lifeguards!
