WW2 movies

Black Book, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Patton, Come And See, Letters from Iwo Jima, Hell in the Pacific, A Bridge Too Far.

As long as you talk to kids before hand to prepare them, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is the best movie ever made to introduce the young to the horrors of the Holocaust.

Getting past Tom Cruise is a big ask, kinda like the Jack Reacher movies
He fucked The Mummy movie which was supposed to kick off a franchise. Cruise took over all creative decisions deciding he needed more camera time and close ups etc etc. Basically he just moulded the film into a vehicle for his annual summer blockbuster.

He may seem a nice guy but he is a fucking weirdo (his religion thingy) with an ego as big as a moon. I am fast starting to really dislike him as an actor.

In short (excuse the pun) he's a ****

If we are talking about films made during WW2 -
Weht The Day Well?
Pimpernel Smith
Freedom Radio
Cottage To Let
Atlantic Convoy
Casablanca
One Of Our Aircraft Is Missing
The Day Will Dawn
Mrs. Miniver
The Lion Has Wings
In Which We Serve
First Of The Few
Unpublished Story
Advantures Of Tartu

must say I do like Talking Pictures channel 328, these films were all produced really as propaganda films as the outcome of WWII was far from certain, could add Sherlock Holmes films, Arthur Askey and George Formby as well
