I think not playing has given Yaya his appetite back. Whether that's also been driven by a lack of interest from so called 'top clubs', is open for debate. Maybe he's trying to prove a point to Guardiola and these other clubs that he's far from finished? Either way we are seeing a great player controlling games again.
However I also know when he eventually goes I for one will be sorry to see the player leave. Watching him brush aside opposition players is a joy. Watching him smash a ball at Silva, De Bruyne and Aguero, because he knows they have the touch to control it, is a amazing.
Whatever your thoughts we will never see a player like him again in a City shirt again.
