Yaya-Keep or Sell?

They have a mega rich owner now so they can pay up

I dint think someone on his wage and waistline on 200k plus per week at age 34 is worth much Karen. Think his agent will be looking for us to pay the difference in his wages.

Giving him away on a free wouldn't be bad business at all. He's 34 years old, of very little use to us now, a huge drain on our wage bill and everybody knows it. We've had more than our money's worth out of him.

I'm thinking that is how it's likely to pan out too. He wants out but he knows Inter won't pay what he's on now and so he's making noises that he's prepared to stay if Pep should want him, which isn't likely. Translation: He hangs around festering and like a bad smell unless City take the drastic action of having to pay him to go.

Fully agree with this he has certainly paid back what we paid for him in spades. But his future lies elsewhere now. I just don't see a role for him under Pep other than cameo appearances perhaps as part of a centre back trio or as a late impact sub to chase or close out a game. I doubt very much if the big man would be happy with such a role and from our perspective it would represent a poor return on such a highly paid player. He will go most likely and if it on a free so be it.
