The Yaya situation is an interesting one, the common view being that he will leave this summer, but if he does it will be on our terms.
On the other hand If Pep wants Yaya to stay, that will be because Pep has a role in mind for him. If Yaya is determined to stay but isn't given any assurances then we will have a motivated player determined to prove Pep wrong.
In the past we have relied on Yaya. That won't be the case this season, should we bring in our top targets. I'm not convinced Yaya's powers have waned as much as last season indicated... especially if he is played in his correct position.
If we do sell Yaya his huge wages become freed up for incoming players. I see it as a win win situation.
