Yaya-Keep or Sell?

I'd say we are 2 years behind schedule. But then again, I'm an impatient cock.

To be fair you are probably right, he has not been the same player for a while and cakegate in hindsight may have been the time to let him go.

Please let him go in the summer as its been sad watching his demise and it's clear he's past his best. We looked so much more balanced against PSG with two in the middle protecting the back four and working hard. Sad watching Yaya jog around the pitch without making any challenges or doing anything to close down or win the ball back. Gundogan, Kroos, Pogba would all be an improvement.

Sadly I have to agree. I think it was the game at home to Leicester when he seemed to pull out of a very winable challenge that sealed it for me. A true legend on the pitch but time to say goodbye I think.

He could be the perfect impact player but seriously, this is Yaya Toure, is he really going to be happy with a super sub role?

Time to go for me. It's easy to say 'keep him' when he's playing well, but in a few games time when he's looking lethargic and disinterested, it'll be interesting to see how many of the 'Yaya to stay' voters here change their minds.

I'm with the sell brigade, but don't you think since Samir has been back, he and Yaya complement each other so well,Nasri makes Yaya a better player, it's a tough call, and in a Pep team with the focus on keeping the ball imagine being able to select from Pogba, Gundogan, Nasri, Merlin,Yaya,Sterling, Dino & Nando

I think there'll be interested clubs but I can't see any of the big clubs coming in for him, therefore big chance he stays

As others have said, if he was up for it, I'd keep him another year or so as an impact player (I personally feel he would be up for it...)

That said, he'll go because his agent is a complete cock, and the club won't tolerate any more of his drivel being banded around the media.

Sell, move on. We've done well to get the best out of him. He could do a job next year but he is not the sort to take a squad role and his agent is a bomb waiting to go off! Let's quit while we are ahead! We have plenty of quality in the squad and we need the space for new blood!

Good as it means we will get decent money for him.

Thanks for the memories big man, pity it ended with a sour taste in the mouth.

I really can't see him going to China.

He is on £200k+ a week here, He could probably get £250k+ a week in China looking at some of the wages they are paying other players. He is at the end of his career, Can barely even run anymore I think he knows his best days are gone and will be looking for a nice big pay day.

I hope in a couple years I can look back on Yaya fondly because he really was something special. Shame how he and his agent have acted.

Brilliant footballer on his day and drug us through the mud on more than a couple occasions!

Said for a while now if we can send him to China that is best case scenario for us. Hopefully this has some truth to it.

Ticks their boxes; a big name player who'll attract attention. Ticks our boxes; we'll actually get some money for him & can find a club who'll be able to afford his wages.

Needs to go, however if you're making a thread for him being sold, then one needs creating for a good few others.
