Yaya says Pep "does not like African players" - Pep says "he's lying and knows it"

Very sad that it's come to this, but it's now obvious that the vitriol we all poured onto the head of his arsehole
of an agent, should have included Yaya, as all the petulant shit we presumed was influenced solely by the agent
is a characteristic of Yaya in spades.
He seems a very needy and childish man, who has now tainted a brilliant legacy.

Well Yaya has set himself a good challenge for next season (assuming he finds a club that will pay him what he wants).

If he plays brilliantly and brings success to his new team than maybe his views about how much playing time he received last season will be justified. If he does not do well or is just average then his claims will be shown to have been totally empty.

If he plays for someone else against us next season I will not boo him but will be delighted if we pass the ball around him, press him (fairly) to death when he has the ball and smash his new team for 6 or 7.

How to create bad feeling from a club / fans that adored you yaya.

We all have thoughts ideas but we sometimes look at it overall and keep our trap shut.

Yaya wasnt exactly a pep player and pep arrived just as he was coming to an end.

Think to come out and say that is a daft decision.

Isn't the African cup of nations the real reason clubs steer clear of too many African players? Losing a few players for 2 months every second year is no good to anyone.

To be honest I'm shocked it's taken this long following his departure to go off and not in the least bit surprised

Looking at it dispassionately, Yaya was a GREAT player for the club and ironically without him and that original group of players Pep wouldn't be here, because we wouldn't have had that early success, in short his contribution to the club can't be overstated.

That being said, personally I never bought the agent is a dick line, if you employ someone to represent you if you are unhappy with what they are doing you fire them, it's that simple. Seeing as Yaya never did that it's clear to me he was acting in what Yaya felt was his best interests.

As for Pep it seems common-sense to me that they wouldn't see eye to eye Pep has shown him the door not once but twice through his career and looking back at his time at the club, I don't think anyone can argue that City got good value for money out of that deal and Yaya could and indeed should have played at the very highest level the vast majority of his time with us.

However, one only needs to watch a Pep team play to see that Yaya isn't a great fit, indeed I would argue if Pep had managed City in 2014 Yaya still wouldn't have been a great fit, that's not because Yaya is African it's because the skills he brings to the table aren't those Pep naturally looks for in his players and finally anyone who has seen Yaya over the last 18 months knows that he has lost a yard of pace and when the ball flows through him it slows the game down, in most teams that wouldn't be an issue, but with City and the way we attack people it's a major problem.

Lastly I want to address the African accusation, is Pep raciest, I have no idea although to be honest I would very much doubt you could be a successful manager or indeed player if you where these days, but for those that think everyone sees all black's as the same and that you couldn't be simply raciest against black Africans(or indeed any subgroup)I have news for you there are people out there that are, I have seen and heard it myself. That being said hand on heart how many of us thought Pep made the wrong choice in not renewing Yaya for another year? I bet there aren't very many of us that do.
Toure was finished by the time Pep came to City. He was fortunate to be retained in the dressing room and kept part of the squad because his physical condition prevented him from making a meaningful contribution.

If any Premiership club is stupid enough to buy him they will realise their mistake immediately

Not just at City either, same applies for Barcelona - he has been loved for a long time but for most this will bin his legacy
