Yaya says Pep "does not like African players" - Pep says "he's lying and knows it"

If he plays brilliantly and brings success to his new team than maybe his views about how much playing time he received last season will be justified. If he does not do well or is just average then his claims will be shown to have been totally empty.
No they won't. We won the league in record style, playing some of the best football the Premiership has seen. He didn't get near the team on merit, not because of his race.

With the pedophilia storm that's hit the game wouldn't it be best if the club spoke to Toure discretely with lawyers and if he makes an accusation then the club should open a formal in house investigation
If Toure or his agent then release a statement to the press saying City have asked for clarification and are seeking to undertake a racism investigation, City can then also release a statement about the seriousness of any racism accusation whilst formally calling racism abhorrent (which it is) and that any racism accusation will always be taken extremely seriously and investigated

It will be sorted by Toure withdrawing any accusation and if he still pursues then City must speak to all players individually with their representatives present to find out if there's any truth to Toure's accusation

Too many people are forgetting he is a legend for this club and always will be. Has bigger balls than all of the other stars here (done it when it mattered in the biggest games). On the face of it the claims are absurd, but we are not privy to what goes on

True, but you can do things that sour your legacy. If Aguero left for United in 2012, we'd be pissed off.

This isn't a one-off incident. We have cake-gate. We have Toure accusing the club of not letting him spend time with his dying brother. We have him calling Pep a racist. The former is absolute petulance and the latter are 2 very serious accusations on both a professional and personal level. For all we know, they may all be true, but to me, it seems like he has an agenda and a superiority complex.

Bollocks. Pep is a legend. Yaya is not.

It's not just about the football. It's also about the man.
