Yaya to leave soon?

He has very little in the way of leverage.

Given he'll be 34 when his contract expires, he's not really in a position to run it down and threaten to leave on a free at the end if it. It makes no odds to us.

He knows our wage bill has been capped and so has PSG's.

Given his age, we probably wouldn't be offered an amount that makes it worth our while to lose him for the one or two years he has left playing at this level.

The only deal i could see being potentially useful to us would be to offer him as a makeweight in bringing in a player we see as his replacement (if there is such a thing). We can offer a ready made world class player who'll be top class for the next two years in a deal for someone who isn't the end product but has the potential and is much younger. That would obviously be a gamble but i cant see any other deal that would be beneficial to us. Even this is unlikely though as it would require any other player we wanted to be playing for a club that will top his current wages.

That said, his agent is a lunatic that does this every year so i doubt anyone is concerned about this story anyway.

As someone who perpetually forgets others' birthdays I have every sympathy for the Sheikh. He should get his mum to remind him a couple of days beforehand, although quite frankly I'd prefer it if she just sent the cards herself on my behalf.
I'm going to send the Sheikh a Cat's protection league calendar for 2015. They're great , you get a picture of a different cat each month and you can write people's birthdays in the boxes for each day of the month. The only problem is you have to remember to buy a card with an envelope and get a stamp. Also he will have to check that the card does not exceed the size limitations for first and second class postage ( the rules are written on the back of a book stamps if you have one). If he get's all this right it shouldn't be too much of a problem to pop down to his local post office and send a card to YaYa.

Is there any other club in the PL where articles are written about star players wanting to leave? Anyone read about Hazard being fucked off and wants to go (not just pissed off with Maureenyo), Stevie Starfish off again, or Aaron Ramsey wants to go back to Cardiff? It's just arsehole hacks shit stirring, and because its in print one or two might just hang on to it as having a scintilla of truth!

Well, we know the birthday thing is horse shit because City Today showed him receiving a cake etc on the plane to Abu Dhabi.

Thank you, I thought I had dreamt that and was going mad

I call bollocks.

Are we even sure this guy is real Dimitri Saluk? I thought he was ousted as a fake before but may be wrong...
That was the madman going round telling everyone he was Dzeko's agent and Dzeko had signed for Inter (?) and most of the journos believed him.

Sorry, but if those quotes from his agent are genuine, and Yaya doesn't feel appreciated due to a lack of celebration on his birthday, then he can please get the heck out of our club. I'd be thrilled to get Fabregas instead.

I am really surprised a very highly paid footballer had it in him to act like as childish as that. It pisses me off.
Don't feel appreciated my ass.

So what we fans do every single bloody week, what the club is doing for him every single day, isn't enough. Fucking joke that is.

100 Million Pound, and then we can start talking.

Again, if the story is true I'd gladly make a straight swap for the much younger and mature Fabregas.

Since its Yaya Toure, I am willing to believe the article might be true. He does this same drama every other season for pay rise.
