I would rather have thrown on Zinchenko and not play him at LB. Poor guy is a an attacking mid and we haven't seen what he can do in that position.
 
It's pretty painful seeing our former most influential player strolling around cos he can't do what he used to do.

Yeah its horrible, that moment when he had the ball at his feet in the middle of the pitch and that palace player ran up to him and took the ball off him and Yaya literally couldn't even move his legs so just grabbed hold of him and pulled him down.

He'll be gone next summer and that is fair enough, but I don't mind him getting a few minutes second half when we've won the game. I'd like to see him celebrating our success at the end of the season, as many others would surely like to see.

Me too. Easy in hindsight, of course, but Yaya's introduction provoked a "meh" reaction in me. I'd rather watch the future than the past.
 
sorry yaya but the hurly burly of the prem is passing you by, i'd rather have the memories of what you have done and not see you get humbled by average players.

pep don't taint the legacy
 
Aright, we've all had some laughs, but the time has come to stop letting him anywhere near the pitch. Genuinely doesn't look like a professional footballer anymore and is complete liability.

Walking looks an effort, jogging appears very difficult, sprinting is now beyond him.

It's all very sad to see, but this must not continue. Diaz and Zinchenko must surely be a better option.
 
Sorry, but Mangala should be on for Stones and Danilo on for Fernandinho. There’s only one passing option when the defence has the ball and Touré is on the park and that puts us under pressure. I’m all for squad cohesion but fail to understand this now.
 
Yaya is absolutely awful out there. We should be playing Danilo in the Fernandinho spot instead, or anyone really. Call back Douglas Luiz from Girona even, at least he'll run around.

Nothing wrong to bring Yaya at 3-0.
Good game management by Pep.
Had a good passing control in midfield, also tried to pass the forwards in some good position.
No complaints at all from my side.
 
It's like dragging someone on from the crowd now. We're going to end up throwing away points if we have him on any longer than 10 minutes at the end of a match, and maybe still even then.
