Yaya Toure apologises

It's a shame that Yaya can't even say sorry to our club. He obviously will stay untill the end of the season and pick up his big wage packet. I love Yaya as a player and will never forget the goal he scored at Wembley against the rags and Sunderland but he's gone down I'm my estimation now and the sooner he's gone the better.
I think he'll go in January

I hope that IF we win anything this year, then yaya wont get a big bonus as he has not played for us, and also after 1st of june/ july noboby wants him and he will be left on his own as his agent will go to other players who will be young and leach off them

With his salary demands, big mouth agent and damaged reputation I wouldn't be surprised if the only place we'll likely see Yaya on a football field again is in China. Shame he's had such a bad ending to his career.

To sit on his big fat arse with complete radio silence and let this utter cockwomble keep talking for him has seen Yaya's stock plummet in my eyes.

If he had anything about him, he'd be looking to play somewhere, any fucking where, but looks like he will sit tight til seasons end and clean up. Sad, sad end and it could have all been avoided if Yaya had a pair of bollocks.

Could have left a legend, now I'll just be relieved when we finally get shot.

Not missed him this season. Struggled in the last couple of games, but never for a minute wished, or heard other blues saying they wished he was on the bench. The Celtic and spurs games are just the sort of high tempo ones he would have gone missing in so I think the answer is staring us, yaya, city, and his agent in the face. Time to go to the US or China for a big payout and be rightly remembered as a city great.

Is the problem that as fans we have more of an affection for players than they do for us? I think that there are many players who just use a club as a be all and end all of securing a rich lifestyle. Is Yaya bothered if his reputation is tarnished, probably not.

Players come and go, and maybe we become so emotionally attached at times, we automatically think that should be reciprocated. Sadly, the players who are genuinely engaged with their clubs and fans appear few and far between.

IMO Yaya peaked after the box to box run and goal v Villa over 2 seasons ago ...drifted through games ever since...but still a legend
