Once charged its a matter of public record. You can check the MEN for who has been charged this week if it is newsworthy, or if you were so bored you could check the court records for the week. Which journalists do, as its their job pretty much. no reward or leaking. Far more boring and er, procedural and legal, than that.How does this become public knowledge.?do the police release a statement or does some.officer leak it for reward? It's the same in Ireland as the UK, if it's high profile enough you'll hear about it long before it reaches court.Ireland mate.over here the local papers report court cases but not charges. Is it really a matter of public record though?
