People talking about him moving to PSG. Does anyone know if he speaks French or not?

Apparently he does but sounds like the English Policeman on Allo Allo.

Re: Yaya Toure

How would people feel if it was announced in the next couple of weeks that he has signed a new improved contract? Pleased that we've kept him or disappointed that the club have ceded to Seluk/Yaya's ridiculous strategy? At this point if he stays due to a back down or the club refusing to budge, I wouldn't mind so much but if he gets what he wants by behaving this way, I'd be pretty pissed off.

I'm in the get rid now camp.

Given its Ivory Coast official language I would say yes at a guess

They played together at Barca.

Yaya has played in the French league

He also played in the Ukraine, but doesn't follow the league.

It's clear to me that he is monitoring the french league.

I also think that Seluk and Toure are making comments about Barcelona to force PSG to make a big offer. "300k a week or we will join Barcelona" kind of thing.

Paris aren't going to sign him ... wait and see.

It's only just dawned on me that Yaya has played at Monaco once already in his career. If I was a betting man all my money would be on him going there IF he moves anywhere this summer. No one else can afford him or will want to pay the money it'll cost in transfer fee and wages.

Said that to someone on PM earlier, Billy.

I suspect he's not the prospect on the transfer market he thinks he is, looking for £250K a week and a long contract at the age of 31, and where pace is a big part of his game. Especially if City hold out for £15-20m or whatever.

Unless he accepts a 2 or two and a half year deal, I can't see there being many options beyond one or two money-no-object clubs looking for a leg-up.

I'm in the 'his agent goes or he goes' camp.

Re: Yaya Toure

City need to act swiftly on this,we don't want another summer of uncertainties after becoming champions,we should not be waiting on him saying if he wants to stay or leave after the World Cup.if he wants to leave fine just let us know now so we can find a replacement because its going to be very hard chasing a player all summer as it is with the World Cup,and finding a player of toured calibre I's another problem because hes going to be hard to replace IMO.

If he went to Monaco i'd attempt to get James Rodriguez out of it
